Many colorful tractors gathered on Sunday April 21 to the village of Wothorpe in England at the Royal Air Force base for the first charity tractor march.
150 agricultural machines took part in the charity parade of tractors of the event. As part of the event, £ 5,000 was raised.
The money will be shared between the Royal Agricultural Charity, a national charity to help farmers and their families in dire financial straits, and the Stamford Evergreen Care Trust. The organizer of the event, Colin Holwell of Easton-on-the-Hill, said: “For the first attempt, it was very good. We started from Burghley Estate and finished at the control tower of the air force base, where everyone was welcomed. The total length of the route was about 20 miles, and everywhere there were many people who expressed their support to us. ”
He also continued: “We had 150 tractors, but there could have been 200, but there was simply not enough space for such a quantity of equipment. The comments we heard were extremely helpful to us. ”
