Volyn farmer Vladimir Bolotin lives in the village of Knyagininok and is happy to devote his every day to his favorite pastime - growing citrus fruits in a unique underground cave.
The cave is not simple, but is a greenhouse complex, which is located at a depth of two meters underground. According to Vladimir, it is more profitable to heat such a greenhouse in winter, since it maintains a constant air temperature of 8 degrees Celsius.
“The first inhabitants of my greenhouse cave were lemon tree seedlings, which I and my relative bought in Kiev from a local breeder,” says Bolotin. - To provide the greenhouse with heat, I built a stove from which water batteries extend around the entire greenhouse. The circulation of water in the radiators is provided by the pump. ”
Today Vladimir grows not only lemons - in his agricultural assortment you can find oranges, limes, fingerlimes, and citrons. In the near future, Bolotin intends to try to grow a unique red lemon.
