In the first half of this year, over seventy two and a half thousand tons of meat products were manufactured and sent to the market in the Tula region by the forces of local agricultural producers.
In addition, at least ninety two and a half thousand tons of milk were produced. As for egg production, the Tula poultry farmers delivered to consumers about two hundred forty-two million one hundred thousand eggs in the period from January to June 2019.
For a clear comparison, we can add that a year earlier the pace of production of these products was significantly lower - from the first half of 2018, meat production increased by one hundred and twelve percent, milk production by one hundred and nine percent, and egg production by more than one hundred eight and a half percent.
It is noteworthy that we are talking about products that were made by forces of all types of agricultural and farming activities of the Tula region.
It will not be superfluous to note that representatives of medium and large business facilities have largely influenced the growth of indicators.
The share of farm production in the total volume is not so significant (it is more concentrated on the production of grain, fruits and vegetables and crop production), and the population provided about twenty-five percent of the gross volume.
