A few days ago, leading experts at the British Institute of Nutrition shared useful information regarding which products of farm origin should not be combined with each other in order to avoid serious health problems.
In particular, scientists noted that one should not eat meat from cattle and poultry at one time. Especially avoid the combination of lamb and duck, beef and goose. The thing is that such “mixes” can lead to flatulence, bloating and diarrhea.
Researchers also recommend refraining from consuming pork with beans (beans, peas, etc.). After all, such a combination slows down the digestive processes, provokes a feeling of fullness from the inside and the “stone effect” in the stomach.
Try not to eat veal with leek in one go, which leads to gastric colic and diarrhea. Also refrain from combining red meat and shellfish (oysters, mussels, snails, etc.), because they can have a negative effect on your kidneys and liver, provoking serious health problems.
Cauliflower with pork should not be mixed, because this pair slows down the intestines and does not allow vitamins to be absorbed.
The lamb and ginger duo is dangerous, because this combination will at least cause a sore throat, burning sensation, heartburn, as well as thirst and headache. Plus, no one will reverse the negative effects on the kidneys and liver.
As for grapes and seafood, it is better not to combine them to avoid nausea, vomiting and the appearance of a nasty taste in the mouth for several hours.
And the most unexpected combination is onion and garlic. Many housewives are accustomed to using both of these products, without thinking that their combination in raw form leads to gastric colic and severe pain in the intestines.
