The Nursultan "farm" in the rural Atameken district of the Zhetysay district of the Turkestan region in Kazakhstan last year received about 5 tons of fruit from a lemon garden measuring 10 square meters.
This was reported by the regional communications service. So, this year the size of the lemon garden was increased by another 10 square meters. Now the seedlings have been planted in the soil and taken care of proper care.

“Lemon seedlings were specially imported from Uzbekistan in 2016. Having built a greenhouse, we produced 3 tons in the third year and 5 tons this year. Each bush produced about 30–40 kilograms of fruit. In fact, each lemon can bear fruit for 25-30 years, ”said Yuldash Ablazov, a greenhouse gardener.
In total, the collective farm "Nursultan" owns 17 hectares of land. Of these, 6 hectares of peaches, 20 grape varieties in vineyards, 20 ha under lemons and 80 thousand rose bushes were planted. Collective farm chairman Murat Zhumabekov plans to increase the volume of lemons to 30 by next year. It is worth noting that this is a farming experiment, which includes planting and growing date palms on 2 hectares of land.
