In the Kiev region there is the village of Lubyanka, where creatively-minded farmers work almost tirelessly. By joining forces, they formed a whole union of 34 small enterprises called “Lubyansky farmers”.
“We started with a small poultry farm and grew up to packing tea, making cardboard packaging, cafes, service stations, sawmills, a couple of shops and a fish smokehouse,” says Yevgeny Kozhushko, who, with the support of like-minded Ivan Zaviryukha and Vyacheslav Dovzhenko, initiated such an allied production. “Then our French colleague, the farmer Gerald Thomas, joined us.” He used to work for one large corporation in Ukraine, but then he decided that he was interested in farming. ”
