In the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, not far from a stream called Cranberry, which is located in the Industrial microdistrict, locals found a terrifying find.
It is a large-scale burial of cow carcasses. To date, about one and a half hundred fragments of the bodies of dead cows have been found at the scene. As soon as it became known about the unauthorized cow necropolis, members of the city administration of Komsomolsk-on-Amur held an emergency meeting of representatives of the emergency commission.
It was suggested that burial is the result of the activities of cunning butchers involved in the illegal slaughter of cattle. It is reported that tags were found on separate carcasses of animals buried under the stream. However, the result of the audit did not help the members of the commission establish which farms contained the cows.City authorities fear that an unauthorized cows' cemetery could provoke pollution of water and soil in the adjacent territories, in particular, in the Industrialny microdistrict. The situation becomes potentially critical when you consider that the territory adjacent to this area is a favorite place for recreation and fishing among residents of the city. Samples of water and soil samples from territories adjacent to the illegal necropolis have been sent for research. The results of the analyzes will become known in the very near future.
Persons involved in the creation of a burial place for cows of unknown origin are currently being identified by law enforcement. It will not be superfluous to note that today in Komsomolsk-on-Amur there are about six officially registered and absolutely legal facilities for slaughtering livestock. Monitoring of these sites is regularly carried out by representatives of the city’s veterinary services.
