Yuriy Burlachenko heads the meeting of legislators in his region - the fertile and sunny Krasnodar Territory. During a meeting of farmers in honor of the International Tea Day, which took place a few days ago, he noted that there is one branch of the agro-industrial complex in the Kuban that requires not only intensive development, but also a thorough analysis of available resources and a complete revision of the approach to production. It's about growing and making tea.
“Tea has been grown and produced in our region for a long time,” notes Burlachenko. - However, in the early 90s of the last century, this area significantly lost ground. And no one took control of the current situation. Today is the time to restore the former glory of the Kuban tea growing and supply the country and the world market with high-quality and tasty tea! ”
According to the head of the meeting, in order to revive the former volumes of tea growing and production in the Kuban, the regulatory framework and legal regulatory methods should be carefully worked out.
“In 2016, a law was passed on the development of tea production in our region,” recalls Burlachenko. - And then my colleagues voted to maintain tea growing at the level of the Russian government. As a result, we sent a corresponding request to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. ”
Burlachenko and his colleagues, as well as all the tea growers of the Krasnodar Territory, believe that in the near future a program will be developed to support and develop tea production in the sunny fields of the Kuban.
