On May 28 of this year, analysts from the Infoindustry news agency conducted a survey of Ukrainian agricultural producers. During the monitoring, it was revealed that due to adverse weather conditions in the fields, lodging of ears of crops occurred.
According to most farmers in the country, heavy rainfall in the form of prolonged rains in Ukraine at the end of May this year significantly worsened the condition of crops. Agrarians said that plant lodging is observed in the fields.
This can significantly reduce the yield of crops. Respondents said they protect crops from pests such as bug bugs with insecticides. They fight against fungal diseases of the ear, processing crops with fungicides.
Currently, farmers are monitoring the state of cultivated plants after the past bad weather and help crops recover using micronutrient antistressants.
Earlier it was reported that heavy rains, strong winds and hail caused damage to agriculture in several regions of Ukraine. Transcarpathian region suffered the most, where the damage to the agricultural industry is estimated at 50 million UAH.
