The authorities of the Moscow Region intend to build several food processing clusters.
The creation of these clusters is most likely to occur on the basis of the so-called dry ports near the capital. We are talking about railway junctions specializing in cargo transshipment. This was reported by Andrei Razin - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region.

Such changes, the minister notes, are fully correlated with the transition of the economy of the Moscow Region to an export development model. In particular, clusters will be built near such dry ports as Bely Rast in Dmitrovsky District and Vostochny located in Elektrogorsk.
“Another cluster will appear at the Selyatino facility,” says Andrei Razin. “Each of these clusters will have its own specialization in processing export-oriented products.”
