Argentine farmers have come close to ending the process of sowing fields with wheat.
It is known that by the end of last week, the farmers of Argentina had completed the originally planned plan by more than ninety-two percent. It is noteworthy that by the same date of the previous year, local peasants had achieved approximately the same success, fulfilling the plan for ninety-three percent.
It will not be superfluous to note that the indicators of 2019 are significantly ahead of the average rate of wheat sowing in the country over the past five years.
The leaders of the sowing campaign in Argentina can be called the farmers of the Entre Rios region, as well as representatives of agriculture in such provinces as La Lampa (in the north of the country) and Buenos Aires (in the west of the country).
It is noteworthy that by the end of last week the state of most crops was described as good and excellent, although in 2018 in mid and late July the weather gave only thirty-seven and a half percent of all Argentine crops a chance for normal vegetation.
It is important to add that in parallel with the sowing campaign of wheat in Argentina, sowing of such crops as barley is actively carried out. To date, they sowed over eighty-two percent of the originally planned areas.
