In the livestock breeding complex of Agroprodservice, the village of Kupchintsy, Kozovsky district, Ternopil region, launched the first automatic calf feeding line in the region.

The line allows you to feed the calves with milk using a kind of nipple. Milk is served warmed to the optimum temperature. The company's specialists expect that with the new method of feeding, the daily increase in calves will be up to 1200 g. An automatic calf feeding line was purchased in Spain. Its installation and preparation for work was carried out by a representative of the manufacturer.

Such equipment is far from a novelty in the European Union. It has been successfully applied on many farms abroad. This method of feeding calves is very popular in Italy, Spain and other countries that are leaders in the production of beef in European countries.

Earlier it was reported that in Ukraine the number of pigs and cattle was significantly reduced. There are especially few cows of meat breeds in the country, which is explained by the unprofitability of their cultivation. Meat production in this case is derived from dairy.
