Representatives of the agricultural industry of the Krasnodar Territory have 100% fulfilled the plan for sowing, scheduled for the current season. And now we can proudly talk about the performance of Kuban farmers.

So, the forces of the region’s agrarians managed to sow about two million hectares of fields in spring. Of these, at least 125 thousand ha were allotted for rice cultivation.

The state actively supports the sowing campaign of the Russian Federation, including the Krasnodar grain crops: in 2019, about eight and a half billion rubles were allocated from the federal budget for their needs. This information was shared with the public by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

It will not be superfluous to note that the practice of agroindustrial insurance has again been introduced in the Kuban open spaces.

In 2019, the government of the Krasnodar Territory hopes to get a grain crop with no less than in 2018 indicators. It is known that a year earlier, Kuban farmers threshed more than ten million tons of grain and leguminous crops.

High rates of development of the grain industry in the Krasnodar Territory suggest that in five years the level of grain exports will grow by at least ten percent.
