Carlos Deimek Sorreta was authorized to represent the interests of the Philippines in the Russian Federation at a meeting with representatives of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
Konstantin Savenkov, who replaces the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, noted that the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Philippines expressed an unprecedented interest in Russia importing poultry products to the island state.
Before becoming convinced that Russian chicken is truly worthy of Filipino feasts, island experts conducted a thorough inspection of four poultry farms and specialized enterprises in the Russian Federation. At the moment, says Carlos Damek Sorreta, inspectors analyze the data. The likelihood that the issue will be resolved in favor of Russian suppliers is extremely high.It should also be noted that according to the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor, the Philippines previously sent its importers their requirements regarding veterinary and sanitary standards that apply to poultry meat, as well as to fish, fish and meat products in general, to Russian importers. After reviewing the list of requirements, the Russian side expressed the hope that in the near future it will be possible to import significant quantities of poultry meat to the trading floors of the Philippines.
