In the territory of the Budslav settlement, which is located in the Myadel district of the Minsk region (Republic of Belarus), the end of last week was marked by colossal rainfall and hail.
It is reported that the hailstones were impressive - about a quail or even a chicken egg. As a result, the weather affected the agriculture of the area in the most insidious way. It is known that the volume of precipitation was so impressive that whole snowdrifts from the city formed in the fields and beds.
The farmers of Budslau are sounding the alarm - the hail literally riddled their greenhouses. It is noteworthy that not only the polyethylene coverings of greenhouses suffered, but also glass ones. As well as carbonate. “The city shot our greenhouses like bullets,” growers complain.
Gardeners also share their grief, in the plots of which fruit trees and berry bushes suffered as a result of hail - the trees were left almost without leaves and fruits.
In addition, the city literally destroyed the gardens of Belarusian farmers. Moreover, both the Budslav farmers and their colleagues from the neighboring village of Ilovo. Now Belarusian experts are counting losses from destructive precipitation and are looking for ways to solve this situation.
