Not many people know that in the Lviv region a unique production of highly effective mineral fertilizers is actively underway.

The mineral composition is intended for soils with high acidity, and researchers of the highest scientific echelon are developing it. Together with scientists, fertilizer manufacturers at the Tetra-Agro plant have developed a special formula. It is based on phosphorus raw materials from Egypt and potassium chloride purchased in Belarus.

“We carried out thorough research work, working on experimental fields,” the developers say. - Involved in the work of scientific staff of the Lviv National Agrarian University. Our goal was to bring out such a composition that will definitely cope with the shortcomings of acidic Ukrainian soil. ”

For a long time, the plant manufactured fertilizers from domestic potassium chloride. But, in the end, local resources have exhausted themselves. And then Tetra-agro turned to Belarusian suppliers for help. Egyptian phosphorus has attracted the attention of manufacturers with its worldwide reputation and suitable characteristics.

“We could not take into operation the first phosphorus that came across, as we were looking for raw materials of a special kind. One that is suitable for combating the increased acidity of soils in its trace element content, ”they say at the plant. “Phosphorus from the Egyptian deposit came up perfectly, and fertilizers began to be very popular among Ukrainian farmers.” The result of the work of Ukrainian scientists and agronomists was a product that can easily compete with expensive foreign fertilizers.
